As the coffee plant is such a precious one of a kind item that won’t grow anywhere else but in the perfect circumstances, in which not only the weather but even the height is an important factor, we will always have to import the bean to meet our desire for a tasteful cup of coffee. A result is that we lose sight of the origins of the coffee bean.

The Coffee Towel brings back the story of the journey that the bean makes expressed through colour. With the coffee bean itself as the only source, all cotton threads are naturally dyed in a different colour. From the innocent green it has when it’s loaded on the ships, to the dark brown roasted bean that gives flavour to one of the most popular drinks of our society.
